White Riot Goes NMRA

When you are the X275 record holder and time after time you have the car to beat, what else should you do? Well if you are Jared Johnston you decide that your car is going to go compete in the only all Ford series in the U.S.

You read that right, it has been announced that NMRA Superstar Joel Greathouse will be the pilot of White Riot this season in the NMRA Street Outlaw class. Joel has been well known for over a decade in the NMRA as a fierce competitor and one that knows how to win. Driving Jared's white Mustang is the next chapter in his illustrious career.

For those of you that don't know what Street Outlaw is within the NMRA, here is a brief description for you. Street Outlaw is an 1/8th mile class that allows you to run on either a 275 radial tire or a 28x10.5 slick tire. There are multiple engine combinations that are allowed as well. You are allowed to run the typical combinations of single turbo, or supercharger on a small block set up. You are also allowed to run a multi-stage nitrous system. How this is different from other classes though is that you are also allowed a nitrous big block combination. You are also allowed a carb setup or fuel injection, both electronic and mechanical.

The Pressured Solutions, Bennett Racing Engines Mustang of Jared Johnston has show performance that has been matched by very few over the last couple of years in the class he normally runs.  Normally you see previous NMRA Champion John Kolivas doing work with White Riot and we are sure that will continue, along with help from Justin McChesney and others.

White Riot will be facing up against drivers like Phil Hines, Dwayne Barbaree, & Manny Buginga. This is going to be stiff competition, but with the performance we have seen out of this beast in the last couple years, we expect to see Joel and White Riot head right to the top of the Qualifying list and look for them to be a force in the Championship hunt.
