While it certainly should come as no surprise based on his history, Mark Micke dropped the hammer and absolutely demolished the score boards during the Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) at 131 in Martin, MI over the weekend. It left some scratching their heads in utter disbelief.
While I know that there are a lot of you that come by E3xtreme for your drag racing fix, if you have been around a while you’d know that we also cover car shows, car audio events, and other forms of motorsports and car culture.
For years I have discussed the importance of bringing back the entertainment value when it comes to drag racing and for some it falls on deaf ears, but for others like the Bader Family and their track, Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio it is all about the entertainment and putting on one hell of a show for the fans.

I can remember the first time that I ever met John Force. It was 2009 I believe at Joliet for the NHRA event. It was the first NHRA I attended in person, along with my mom who is a huge John Force fan. Now that both John and Brittany have retired, what comes next?

If you follow Pro Mod on a regular basis, you will most likely think that it’s just a bunch of new or old Camaro bodies toss on some tubing. Brian Lewis’s ‘41 Willys fits the bill.

As most of you know, a professional photographer can become very gear happy and get into this phase where they feel the need to have the newest and “greatest” gear on the market. With that in mind, I have decided to start reviewing my own personal gear over the coming months. The Nikon D850 is what I am going to lead off with.

John Force Racing will expand to four teams for the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season and beyond with the signing of 2014 U.S. Nationals Funny Car winner Alexis DeJoria to a multi-year contract with the 24-time world championship organization.
