Newly crowned Funny Car World Champion Austin Prock and John Force Racing teammate Jack Beckman applied that finishing touch Sunday at In-N-Out Pomona Dragstrip, racing one another in the final round of the season-ending In-N-Out Burger Finals to secure their 1-2 finish in the 2024 Mission Foods driver standings.

Jack Beckman hasn’t mashed the throttle on a race car at Maple Grove Raceway in five long years but, considering the outcome of his last start in the Pep Boys Nationals, one can’t blame the two-time World Champion for feeling pretty good about his chances in this week’s 39th renewal.

After a three-race absence, the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS returns to the NHRA Mission Foods tour this week with someone other than 16-time Funny Car World Champion John Force behind the wheel at the 42nd Lucas Oil Nationals.
