The car will be going through some changes, including the swap over to FuelTech EFI. Race Director Eric Luzinski will assume engine and chassis tuning duties as well. You can read the entire statement below. We at E3xtreme look forward to seeing this car in the future and hopefully bringing you an entire feature on the car.

Titan Motorsports is proud to announce that they have come to an agreement with EKanoo Racing to purchase their world record-setting GT86 Pro Import drag car. This car was retired from competition in 2017 after setting the quickest and fastest pass ever running 5.732 @ 253mph. As the engine provider for the program from its inception, Titan Motorsports wanted to continue the cars history and will begin preparing it for a full season of racing. We've retained the services of Gary White to continue piloting the GT86 building off our existing long-term relationship and the cars previous success in Bahrain. Titan Motorsports Race Director Eric Luzinski will take control of all engine and chassis tuning with the car being switched to FuelTech Engine management and our 2018 Titan Motorsports / Expert Racing billet spec engine.
The car is currently stateside at Titan Motorsports being reconfigured for the Fall race season where it will be raced exclusively at Orlando Speed World for the remainder of 2018. Being based out of Orlando, OSW is our home track and we look forward to the World Sport Compact Challenge where it will race against the world's best and battle it out for their $20,000 purse. The Titan Motorsports team had the pleasure of building the first 5 Second Import Supra, to now taking over ownership of this historic Pro Import. We wish Ebrahim Kanoo and the Ekanoo Racing Team success going forward in their future endeavors.
