PRI is a time for celebration on a year well done, and the Mid-West Pro Mod Series does exactly that as well. Series Founder, Keith Haney awarded those Champions today.

It was a day for awards here at PRI in Indianapolis, IN. The convention center is full of industry leaders, whether it is drag racing, circle track, dirt track, or anything else. These three days in December are a time to celebrate a job well done for the past 11 months.

At the Drag Illustrated both we did just that today. With Drag Illustrated Founder Wes Buck hosting the awards presentation, Keith handed off beautiful trophies, and handed over his #1 standing in two of the three classes to other drivers.

Jonas Aleshire

Jonas Aleshire, out of the Chris Duncan Race Cars camp accepted his World Championship award, along with his spot in history as the second ever Mid-West Pro Mod Series Champion. Along with Jonas, Jim Sackavich was awarded his runner-up trophy from Keith.

In the RvW class, it was Daniel Pharris, who wheeled the Alepa Vette to an astounding championship title this season. Daniel, who held off World Record holder Mark Micke by 24 points and Texas Legend Jeff Naiser by 26 points.

Kenny Hubbard

Wrapping up the class awards was the X275 class, it was Shane Heckel runner-up accepting his award before Kenny Hubbard, another Texas legend, was awarded his Championship trophy. Kenny won the championship by almost 100 points over Shane. Look for both of them to battle it out in 2019 as well.
